One travelling to any other country except his home country is expected to carry correct visa documents with him or her, same for Thailand too. One can reach Phuket via airways and seaways. If you fly you will be given a tourist permit of 30 days and 15 days via other modes of transport (not possible to Phuket) as per the new laws. And mind you its only tourist visa and one can’t stay for working with that visa. Some officers will monitor on the tourists and their visa dates so that no tourist will stay longer than his prescribed time. You can go again there after 90 days only. To make it more understandable, if you go to Phuket in January of the year and stay up to march, you will have to leave the country at the end of march and you can only go enter again there only after completion of the month June. Better you return or stay up to the dates of visa, and avoid the problems caused by the police or immigration department.
